This Privacy Policy describes how OhTry, Inc. ("OhTry", "we", "us") collects, uses, and discloses personal information when you visit our websites, request information about our products, or use our software services (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Services you agree to this Policy.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide. Name, business email, phone number, company or agency name, job title, billing details, and any content you submit through forms, support requests, or account interactions.
Account and usage data. Authentication identifiers, device and browser information, IP address, referring URL, pages visited, timestamps, feature usage, and diagnostic logs.
Communications. For OhTry Mobile and similar telephony products, call metadata, message metadata, transcriptions, and voicemail recordings you choose to store, as processed by our carrier partner Twilio.
Customer data. Data our customers or their end users submit into a Service. OhTry processes this on the customer's behalf under our Terms of Service and Data Processing Addendum.
2. How We Use Information
- Provide, operate, secure, and improve the Services.
- Authenticate users and prevent fraud or abuse.
- Respond to sales inquiries, contracts, and support requests.
- Send transactional messages and, where permitted, product updates.
- Meet legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.
3. Legal Bases (EEA / UK)
Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating and improving our business, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where required (for example, marketing cookies).
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We share information with:
- Service providers and subprocessors that host, secure, or deliver the Services (see our Subprocessors page).
- Government agencies or law enforcement where required by law or to protect rights, safety, or property.
- Parties involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, subject to confidentiality obligations.
- Other parties with your direction or consent.
5. International Transfers
OhTry is headquartered in the United States. When we transfer personal information from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland to a jurisdiction that has not received an adequacy decision, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent lawful transfer mechanism.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Customer data is retained according to the customer's configuration and contract. On termination, customer data is deleted or returned as described in the Terms of Service and DPA.
7. Security
OhTry maintains administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, logging, and least-privilege administration. No system is perfectly secure; report a suspected vulnerability to security@ohtry.com.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email privacy@ohtry.com. If OhTry processes your information on behalf of a customer, we will refer your request to that customer.
California residents may also request disclosure of information practices under the CCPA/CPRA and are entitled to non-discrimination for exercising their rights.
9. Children's Privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Services or by email.
